Watershed Online is designed, written, edited, and financially sustained by a creative non-profit community in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Our community has been together since 1992, meeting weekly in what we call "a school of formation" to consider and apply the insights of literature, contemporary culture and Scripture. Through weekly teaching, fellowship and worship meetings, we seek to deepen our understanding of the Christian tradition and encourage our faith.
In 1996, our desire to connect with a broader community of dialogue led us to share our perspectives and experiences with others at Watershed Online. Since then, we have been encouraged, enriched, humoured and sometimes even frustrated by our dialogue partners. Our readers definitely keep us from becoming ingrown!
It's been a full year. Not only have we had our ongoing experiences of God's unfolding story. We have also explored and deepened our understanding of Covenant; first as God covenanting with us, and then our grateful response. Read more about this in What Is A Covenant Community?
Watershed Online has been mistaken for an environmental or water conservation group so we created a video introduction to show the ways in which we apply the term "watershed" to an ecology of mind and spirit.
We'd love to hear from you.
