Musings continued

Wisdom and Foolishness

I began as most wanderers do, in foolishness and haste. With
sights set no further than my nose, my complaints rose loud in
the streets. Every stubbed toe, every weak knee, every faltered
word halted the journey. Luckily, the pompousness of youth led
me to think I could pick up again. I knew no better.

But even more lucky than my blindness, was Wisdom, the
vendor, calling out her wares from the sidelines.
I cried, Misery! Deliver me!
Wisdom retorted, Misery is blessedness! Learn to see me!
I cried, Limitation! (as though more was entitled to me).
Wisdom whispered, Freedom found here.
I cried, I'm an imposter.
Wisdom just chuckled, I've known it all along. Just walk with me
you fool!

I've never been the same. What a pair we make!
